How to not fall off in turn-based mobile RPGs
Turn-based RPGs on mobile live and die on party composition, and most players (me included) figure this out too late. A balanced team beats a stack of damage dealers almost every time.
In Emberfall Saga specifically, I ignored my support character for hours and my whole team was a house of cards. The moment I built around her, fights got shorter and cleaner.
The other habit worth building is reading enemy patterns. Turn-based combat gives you time to think, so use it. Note who hits hard, who buffs, and kill in the right order.
And don't be too proud to retreat. Grinding a few levels before a boss isn't cheating, it's just planning.
